Eli Manning overcomes INT, leads fourth-quarter comeback (2:01)

The Giants' game ball goes to QB Eli Manning, who connected on a team-record 41 of 54 passes and led the game-winning touchdown drive in the final minute. The 49ers' game ball goes to Tramaine Brock, whose INT of Manning kept the 49ers in the game. (2:01)

A look at New York Giants who were "up" and those who were "down" in Sunday's 30-27 victory over the San Francisco 49ers:

UP

Eli Manning: The Giants' veteran quarterback completed a team-record 41 passes in 54 attempts for 441 yards and three touchdowns. Down 27-23 with 1:41 left in the game, Manning led the Giants on an eight-play, 82-yard touchdown drive that culminated in a touchdown pass to tight end Larry Donnell. It was the 27th fourth-quarter comeback victory of Manning's career, and for most of the drive he was without top receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle, who were sidelined with hamstring injuries. Manning was 4-for-8 on the drive, with three completions to running back Shane Vereen, and he also ran for 11 yards.

Dwayne Harris: After a couple of costly drops in the first half, Harris rebounded to finish with six catches for 72 yards. Manning continued to trust him in big third-down situations, in spite of the early struggles, and it paid off. Because Harris is more involved in the offense now as a wide receiver, Vereen appears to have been moved to kickoff returns, although Harris is still the punt returner.

Will Tye: The undrafted rookie tight end had to play more than expected. Because he and Donnell were the only active tight ends, Tye was the only one available when Donnell had to leave the game for a while due to injury. Tye ended up catching the first four passes of his NFL career for 48 yards.

DOWN

Jon Beason: The Giants' veteran middle linebacker just can't stay on the field. Beason, who missed 12 games last year with a foot injury and the first two games of this season with a knee injury, left Sunday's game during the 49ers' first possession due to a concussion. Beason will have to go through the NFL's concussion protocol before he can be cleared to practice this week or play in next Monday night's game in Philadelphia, but the extra day in between games could help him to be ready in time.

Wide receivers' hamstrings: Beckham and Randle both left the game in the second half with hamstring injuries. Beckham was able to talk his way back onto the field for the final couple of plays, and Randle said he was about to do the same when Donnell caught the game winner. Again, the extra day off could help, but we'll wait to see how much these guys practice this week before figuring out whether either can play in Philly. Beckham said after the game he didn't expect his latest hamstring injury to keep him out long.

The pass rush: Yes, the Giants had two "sacks," but they were both just Damontre Moore chasing Colin Kaepernick out of bounds for negative-yardage run plays. The Giants were once again unable to generate any kind of consistent pressure on the quarterback, and as a result Kaepernick played his best game of the season, connecting on 11 of 18 passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the second half.
