Prediction: Washington will beat Giants

The New York Giants were able to control the game and play with a lead Sunday against a Houston Texans team that didn't have its best offensive player and couldn't get its act together. Washington is loaded with offensive weapons and will require the Giants' offense to match them score-for-score, something I don't think they're built to do just yet.

It's also going to be more difficult for the Giants to establish the run against a Washington team that's allowing 2.8 yards per carry and 64.7 yards per game, both third-best figures in the league so far. Washington held the Eagles' LeSean McCoy to 22 yards on 19 carries in its loss in Philadelphia.

I'm expecting Eli Manning and the Giants' offense to have to take a lot more chances to stay in this game and/or win it, and when that happens, that's when they get in trouble.

Prediction: Washington 28, Giants 16.
