Prediction: Giants will beat Texans

Yeah, I said it. Because I think the Texans will help them do it.

The last time Ryan Fitzpatrick went three games in a row without throwing an interception was the end of the 2008 season, when he was playing for the Bengals, and that stretch included a 5-for-9 passing game in a 14-0 victory over Cleveland. Starting for the Texans this year, Fitzpatrick has not thrown an interception in either of his first two games. The New York Giants' defense hasn't intercepted a pass or recovered a fumble yet this season, making them one of only three teams in the league without a takeaway on defense.

Both trends will end Sunday, when Fitzpatrick and the Texans play the Giants at MetLife Stadium. I'm picking Prince Amukamara, he of the three career interceptions, to end the Giants' no-takeaway streak and help the Giants to an ugly, ugly, slopfest of a victory over Houston.

My Prediction: Giants 17, Texans 13.
