Bailey out, Jordan limited at Saints camp

WHITE SULPHUR SPRING, W.Va. -- New Orleans Saints cornerback Champ Bailey was not in attendance at Friday's practice after missing Thursday afternoon's walk-through. Coach Sean Payton declined to specify the reason, though he indicated that it was injury-related.

"No status (update)," Payton said. "We don't discuss injuries at training camp."

It's unclear if or when Bailey got hurt. He participated in every practice through Thursday morning -- though his snaps have been limited to keep him fresh.

Defensive end Cameron Jordan was also held out of most of Friday's practice. Although he was dressed in full pads, he didn't participate in contact drills. Jordan had his ankle rolled up during Thursday's practice, but he went back onto the field after being taped up by trainers. It's unclear if that's why he was limited on Friday.

Also missing practice Friday for the Saints were guard Ben Grubbs (undisclosed), receiver Kenny Stills (quad), defensive tackle John Jenkins (pectoral), cornerback Terrence Frederick (undisclosed), receiver Steve Hull (undisclosed) and offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe (undisclosed).
