Welcome to Gillette Stadium

ESPNBoston

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the New England Patriots host the Detroit Lions on Sunday (Fox, 1 p.m. ET).

Weather conditions: It is a very nice November day for football in New England. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 50s, with sunshine and little chance of precipitation by kickoff (per Weather.com). Winds are light.

Five more to declare inactive: The Patriots have already ruled out starting defensive end Chandler Jones (hip) and rookie offensive tackle Cameron Fleming (left ankle). That leaves five more players to declare inactive. The expectation, from this viewpoint, is that running backs LeGarrette Blount and Jonas Gray will both be active.

Salute to Service. One thing fans will notice is the writing in the back of each end zone -- "Salute to Service." This is part of the league-wide initiative with all 32 teams.

Revis on GameDay program: Cornerback Darrelle Revis is featured on the cover of the GameDay magazine being sold at Gillette Stadium Sunday.

Corrente gets the call: Veteran referee Tony Corrente has been assigned Sunday's game. Corrente's crew ranked sixth in terms of most penalties called per game entering Week 11 action.

Stat of note: The Patriots can clinch their 14th straight winning season with a victory Sunday, which would tie the Packers (1934-1947) as the fourth-longest streak all time.

National anthem: Massachusetts Army National Guard Voices of Freedom. The 215th Army Band of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, under the command of Stephen M. Martins, is distinguished with many awards for military training as well as musicianship.

Color Guard: United States Marine Corps out of Devens, Massachusetts.
