Trayvon Mullen, the No. 19-ranked prospect in the 2016 ESPN 300, released his top three schools on Twitter Monday night.

“That top three can change," he said. "It doesn’t mean I stopped everybody else from recruiting me.”
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound pure cover corner made a number of unofficial visits over the summer, including stops at Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn and LSU in July, with LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond making a favorable impression over the multiple-day visit.
LSU and Florida State have been considered the teams to beat for the Sunshine State standout for months and are near locks to receive official visits. Other schools in addition to Clemson in the official visit hunt are Florida, Ohio State, Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia.
LSU has had a tremendous amount of success in Florida in the 2016 class with verbals from No. 47 Saivion Smith and No. 59 Feleipe' Franks. Smith is one of four defensive backs currently committed to the Tigers, which could present a closing problem for LSU at the end of the day. LSU signed the nation's No. 2-ranked corner in the 2015 class, Kevin Toliver II out of Florida.
Florida State has three defensive backs on its 2016 commit list, including five-star and No. 1-ranked corner Levonta Taylor, along with cornerback Kyle Meyers. The Seminoles inked only one corner in the 2015 class, but he was one of the country's best: Tarvarus McFadden.
Mullen does not have a specific timetable for making a decision, with waiting until national signing day in February a possibility.
