Elite 11 quarterbacks show off athleticism before big event

The Elite 11 finals begins on July 5, with 18 of the top quarterbacks from across the country set to compete for the final 11 spots. As the date approaches, the quarterbacks are already starting to practice, learn the playbooks and maybe even show off a little.

Michigan State quarterback commit Messiah DeWeaver tweeted a video showing off his accuracy before the event.

DeWeaver isn't the only Elite 11 quarterback to post video of himself doing something impressive, as quite a few other signal callers have taken to social media to display their skills. Michigan commit Brandon Peters is a multisport athlete and showed off that athleticism by dunking a basketball.

Not to be outdone, Penn State commit Jake Zembiec tweeted a similar video, just in slow motion.

Georgia commit Jacob Eason happens to play multiple sports as well and tweeted a video of his last high school at bat, which happened to also be a home run.

Texas commit Shane Buechele recently tweeted a throwback video of himself doing what else, gymnastics.

While the quarterbacks will be doing most of the throwing at the Elite 11 finals, Oklahoma State commit Nick Starkel let everyone know he can also catch a football as well as sling it.

Texas Tech commit Jett Duffey posted a more traditional video, passing through a few obstacles, showing off his accuracy.

All of these posts are just a taste of what will be on display in Oregon once the Elite 11 finals begin Sunday.
