Paul Wall, Case Keenum, others give Houston signees video welcomes

HOUSTON -- In keeping with the "H-Town Takeover" theme that has been the foundation of Houston's pitch to local prospects, Tom Herman and the Houston coaching staff are taking local pride to another level on national signing day. Notable Houston figures or University of Houston alumni are welcoming prospects via videos on social media.

Houston rapper Paul Wall, who set Herman up with a grill last month, showed off his own grill while welcoming three-star defensive tackle Aymiel Fleming:

St. Louis Rams quarterback and former Houston great Case Keenum also joined in, welcoming the Cougars' quarterback signee, Bowman Sells:

Oakland Raiders cornerback and 2013 first-round draft pick D.J. Hayden did the same for Blinn College signee J.J. Dallas:

Former Houston quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware welcomed ESPN 300 wide receiver Courtney Lark:

And if that's not enough Houston for you, the Cougars' war room playlist is heavy on Houston native Beyonce, with "Check On It" and "Bootylicious" already blaring in the football offices.
