The final ESPN Junior College 50 rankings for the 2015 class has been released. While the changes weren’t big in number, there is certainly noteworthy movement with names familiar to recruiting and college football fans in general.

Moving in at No. 3 overall is former TCU defensive end Devonte Fields. The former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year is spending the school year at Trinity Valley Community College, and appears ready to make the move back to the FBS ranks and play one more season before entering the 2016 NFL draft. Fields is scheduled to visit Louisville Jan. 30 with the Cardinals the heavy favorite to land the Under Armour All-American Game alumni.

Checking in at No. 10 is East Mississippi Community College wide receiver Camion Patrick. In December’s NJCAA National Championship game, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Patrick was arguably the best player on the field in a game that included No. 4 D.J. Jones and over 25 future FBS players. Patrick has visited Louisville and Auburn the last two weekends, and both schools are in the mix along with Tennessee, where Patrick was once committed in high school.

The USC Trojans have made the most of the junior college ranks at wide receiver in the 2015 class. Moving up in the JC50 is commitment Isaac Whitney, who is already enrolled at USC. The 6-foot-4 receiver brings even more size to the USC receiver core, and joins friend and fellow JC50 prospect De’Quan Hampton. The Trojans will now feature one of the bigger receiver rotations in the country for 2015.

Another mover is cornerback and Tennessee verbal Justin Martin, who is still being pursued by Texas A&M and Oklahoma. The 6-foot-2 corner now sits at No. 27.

On the flip side, Ole Miss signee Chad Kelly moves down as questions off the field continue to plague the talented quarterback who led East Mississippi Community College to the NJCAA National Championship. If ranking on pure talent alone, Kelly would be much higher on the list.

Making an entrance into the JC50 is running back Jeremy Smith. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound back had a big year on the field at Fresno City College, and is expected to be an impact runner as a perfect scheme fit for the Cardinals. Smith has three years to play, which adds to his value, not to mention already being on campus and expected to help ease the loss of Dominique Brown.
