          Class of 2014 shooting guard Troy Holston (Tampa, Fla./Oldsmar Christian) committed to South Florida on Wednesday over offers from Alabama, Kansas State, Marquette, Memphis and Miami (Fla.).

          Holston, who is South Florida’s first commitment in the 2014 class, is fresh off an excellent spring and summer during which he was consistently productive during the live evaluation periods.
