Heading into the all-important July recruiting period, we take a look at recruiting needs and game plans for the top 25 programs in college basketball. First up, the Syracuse Orange.

Where they are: Syracuse is coming off a surprising run to the Final Four, but the Orange will lose their top three scorers from the 2015-16 season. Seniors Michael Gbinije and Trevor Cooney were expected departures, but the March run helped convince Malachi Richardson to leave after his freshman season. As of today, Syracuse only has eight scholarship players on the roster for next season -- led by rising sophomore Tyler Lydon and rising senior Tyler Roberson. ESPN 100 prospects Tyus Battle and Matthew Moyer comprise the incoming freshman class.
