The first day of practice around the country occurred last Friday, and while that’s reason enough for excitement, it also means official visit weekends are about to get just a little more loaded. Midnight Madness might not be the marquee event it used to be, but several schools still make a show of it: Kansas, Kentucky, Duke and some others. As a result, we’ll see those power schools have big groups of prospective recruits on campus over the next few weeks. For certain schools, the entire recruiting cycle revolves around that weekend; which ones will take advantage? And which prospects will be blown away enough to commit on the spot?
