Half of the top 10 prospects in the ESPN 100 will officially be off the board as of Saturday, as No. 8-ranked player Miles Bridges will announce his college destination.
Bridges, a 6-foot-7 forward from Michigan who plays at Huntington Prep (West Virginia), cemented his place among the nation’s top players during the summer. The lefty was tremendous at the Nike Peach Jam, averaging 23.4 points and 10.0 rebounds, while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range. Bridges is an excellent athlete who can fill multiple roles on the court, creating matchup problems due to his strength and explosiveness.
He trimmed his list to three schools recently: Kentucky, Michigan State and Indiana, and recently wrapped up taking official visits to all three.
