Forward Donatas Motiejunas remains available in the market as a restricted free agent and was asked about his status. Motiejunas would like to re-sign with the Houston Rockets, however he and his agent will consider options from other NBA teams.

"I talked to my agent today, in the morning, and he told me that he's been talking with the Rockets the last couple of days," Motiejunas told FOX 26 Sports. "I'm pretty confident everything is going to turn out for the best. Both sides are talking and trying to get an agreement. We're working on it, and I think it's a matter of time when everything is going to clear up."

As a restricted free agent, the Rockets have the right to match any offer sheet he may receive from another NBA team. At this time, only about six teams have the money available to offer a high-dollar deal, so the Rockets have the inside track to re-sign Motiejunas. He could also accept the qualifying offer from the Rockets, which would make him an unrestricted free agent in 2017.

Motiejunas was only able to play in 37 games last season due to back issues and a trade to the Detroit Pistons was rescinded. Motiejunas says he is past the problem and feeling great right now.

"It's all good," Motiejunas said. "I'm working out. I have no problems. I'm just sitting and waiting at this point."
