After spending the last two years with the Brooklyn Nets, point guard Jarrett Jack reportedly will not return for a third season with the team. Jack is signed through 2016-17, but only $500,000 of his $6,300,000 salary is guaranteed if he's waived on or before June 30.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Nets will waive Jack prior to the Thursday deadline if they can't trade him. Jack's salary for next season is reasonable, so the Nets might be able to move him by that time.

Jack's 2015-16 season ended in January after he tore his right ACL, but he may be fully recovered from the injury by the time training camp opens in late September.

In 32 appearances this past season, Jack averaged 12.8 points, 7.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.
