The Utah Jazz did not have guard Dante Exum available for any games during the 2015-16 season as he was recovering from left ACL surgery. Exum tore his ACL last summer while playing with the Australian national team during a game against Slovenia.

According to the latest Believe The Hype podcast, Exum says he will be given the go-ahead on Thursday to begin contact drills.

Exum should be ready for all activities when training camp opens in the fall and he will compete for the starting point guard position against Shelvin Mack, Raul Neto and Trey Burke.

Exum, the No. 5 selection in the 2014 NBA draft, averaged 4.8 points, 2.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds as a rookie during the 2014-15 season.
