The Atlanta Hawks will enter July with four of their players in the free agent market and two of them should draw plenty of attention from many NBA teams. Center Al Horford will hit the market for the first time after completing his ninth season in the league, while small forward Kent Bazemore is on the lists of several teams following two strong seasons with the Hawks.

Regarding Horford, he might get max offers to try to lure him away from the Hawks, and many reports during the regular season speculated the Boston Celtics might take a run at him beginning July 1. On Monday, there was an item from Sean Deveney of Sporting News claiming a source said the Houston Rockets have Horford as their top free agent target, with New Orleans Pelicans' Ryan Anderson also high on the list.

The Rockets are in need of a starting center as Dwight Howard is expected to decline his 2016-17 player option, so he can sign with another team in July. With Howard on the move, the Rockets would have Clint Capela as their top center under contract, which is why they have high interest in Horford.

During his nine seasons with the Hawks, Horford has averaged 14.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 2.7 assists.
