NBA Rumor Central: Jazz trio may not return

The Utah Jazz have some decisions to make as one player -- Trevor Booker -- will become a free agent on July 1, while three others -- Chris Johnson, Shelvin Mack and Jeff Withey -- have salaries for next season that are currently not guaranteed. There is a chance three of those players won't be on the 2016-17 roster when next season tips off.

Regrading Booker, Johnson and Withey, Mike Sorensen of the Deseret News writes: "All three played important roles at times for the Jazz, but none was a regular, and they aren't considered building blocks for the future."

Johnson is on the books next season for $1.05 million and Withey $1.01 million. Both salaries don't become fully guaranteed until January 10, 2017. Of the two, Withey has a chance to stay with the Jazz.

Booker made $4.77 million this season and could be offered a new deal, but that may not come until other business is done in July.

Mack's salary for 2016-17 is $2.43 million and it becomes fully guaranteed, if he's not waived on or before July 7. Mack played a key role after the Jazz acquired him in February and they will probably have him on the roster next season.
