Michael Kidd-Gilchrist missed Saturday's game against Atlanta due to a left ankle sprain and he is expected to miss at least another week, with just over two weeks reaming in the regular season. The Charlotte Hornets are in the hunt for the last playoff position in the East and losing Kidd-Gilchrist for any amount of time is a major loss. With Kidd-Gilchrist sidelined, head coach Steve Clifford has decided to start Jeff Taylor at small forward.
