Patty Mills is currently working through his rehab after having surgery in July to repair the torn right rotator cuff and he could return sometime in January. The Spurs re-signed Mills, despite the injury, to a three-year, $11 million contract as a way to show they like what he brings to the floor as the backup point guard. While the Spurs trust Mills to stay dedicated to the rehab process, there is a provision in his contract, via a "Likely" bonus, that provides incentive to stay on track.
