The New Orleans Pelicans have exercised their 2015-16 team option for Anthony Davis. The Pelicans made the announcement on Friday. Missing from the announcement was word regarding third-year guard Austin Rivers and that is not a surprise since his team option is set to be declined, according to The Times-Picayune.
