Wayne Ellington's FA market

Sunday was the deadline, per the collective bargaining agreement, to waive a player and be able to "stretch" his 2014-15 over multiple years. According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein, the Sacramento Kings did beat the deadline as they released shooting guard Wayne Ellington on Sunday. The Kings acquired Ellington as part of a four-player trade with the New York Knicks on Aug. 6. and there had been talk that he would be waived before the start of training camp.
