The Atlanta Hawks picked up Walter Tavares during the 2014 NBA draft as he was the No. 43 selection. The Hawks like the potential of the young 7-3 center and to further his development the plan is in place for him to return to his Spanish club, Gran Canaria, for the 2014-15 season.
