Jay Triano needs Orlando Magic big man Andrew Nicholson to produce for the Canadian team, but so far he has disappointed the head coach. Nicholson didn't do much prior to the FIBA Americas Olympic qualifying tournament and through two games of the event nothing has changed. From Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun: "He has said he doesn’t care how he performs, as long as the team wins, but Andrew Nicholson’s lack of production has to be somewhat of a concern for Canada. Projected, to be one of the team’s main offensive weapons, as he has been the past couple of summers, Nicholson instead has gone AWOL. Nicholson followed up a three-point effort with just two against Cuba in 13 minutes. In exhibition action in Puerto Rico, he was off in three of four games. Canada is going to need some secondary scoring from somewhere and Nicholson would be an ideal source."
