Wizards' preseason will feature international flavor

The Washington Wizards' seven-game preseason schedule for 2015-16 will include a game against a South American opponent and a visit to Montreal.

Washington will open with its only three home preseason games at Verizon Center. The Wizards will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, Oct. 6, the New York Knicks on Friday, Oct. 9 and the Brazilian pro team Bauru on Sunday, Oct. 11.

It will then be off to visit the 76ers on Friday, Oct. 16, the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, Oct. 17 and the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The preseason finale will be played against the Toronto Raptors on Friday, Oct. 23 in Montreal's Bell Centre that will be part of the NBA Canada series.

The Wizards will open regular-season play on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Orlando.
