Report: Championship trophy tour knows no bounds

The Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals back in June and since that time the players and many members of the organization have taken the Larry O'Brien championship trophy on a tour of the United States, which has more stops coming in September. Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group:

"Larry wouldn't have minded. He's been just about everywhere the past two months. He's hung out with Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, with the Warriors' Dance Team on a media tour, with San Jose police at a golf event. He's partied at Plank in Jack London Square with Oracle workers, practiced with FC Barcelona in San Francisco, camped with young hoopers in Walnut Creek. He wasn't in China last weekend. That was Larry's twin, the NBA's replica trophy. But Larry did almost make a trip to Australia with Andrew Bogut. Schedules just didn't work out. Larry did, however, make an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel,' visited the Facebook headquarters and had breakfast with San Francisco's past two mayors (Ed Lee and Gavin Newsom). Larry's schedule picks up in September. He's going to a Washington State football game with Klay Thompson, a Vanderbilt football game with Festus Ezeli and a North Carolina football game with James Michael McAdoo. Larry is also scheduled to appear at Charlotte Christian Academy, Stephen Curry's high school."
