Trey Burke took it easy on NBA legends in Africa

Trey Burke may have played a little too casually in the NBA Africa Game on Saturday. Burke posted 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds for Team World in the not-so-competitive exhibition against Team Africa. The 22-year-old Utah Jazz guard, however, appeared to go easy on 52-year-old Hakeem Olajuwon and 49-year-old Dikembe Mutombo.

Olajuwon and Mutombo entered the game in the second quarter to a loud applause after they each stripped off their business suits worn over their old team jerseys underneath.

The World Team won, 101-97, but the score was secondary. The goal of the game was to put on a show for basketball fans in Africa, and Burke helped give the fans what they wanted to see.

As first pointed out in USA Today's For The Win blog, Burke helped set up Olajuwon for a blocked shot -- and a finger wag on his behalf, courtesy of Mutombo.

Burke also appeared to set up Mutombo for a blocked shot. An acting career is not likely in Burke's future.
