Report: Why Bullock should stick with Pistons

The Detroit Pistons acquired swingman Reggie Bullock as part of a multi-player deal with the Phoenix Suns earlier this month. Bullock has a strong chance to stick with the Pistons due to his defense. From Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press:

"Marcus Morris is the projected starter at small forward, but Van Gundy said Bullock will be in the mix for one of the 15 roster spots. 'We need to get better defensively on the perimeter, and I think that's a strength of Reggie's,' Stan Van Gundy said. A 2013 first-round pick of the Los Angeles Clippers, it hasn't clicked in two seasons for Bullock. But he said he is looking forward to the competition during training camp and will bring an edge at the defensive end. 'I think anyone who takes that personally, I feel like it gives them an edge over any player,' Bullock said. 'I play on both ends of the floor, I don't take crazy shots, I play within the system, but at the same time I'm comfortable taking my shots.'"
