Report: Al Horford's brother to play for Hawks in summer league

Jon Horford, the younger brother of Atlanta Hawks All-Star center Al Horford, will play for the team's Las Vegas Summer League squad next week, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Jon, 23, completed his eligibility at Florida last season but was not selected in this year's draft. The younger Horford, a forward, averaged 6.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Gators.

Center Mike Muscala and undrafted free agent swingman Terran Petteway are also on the team's summer roster, Vivlamore writes.

The Hawks are expected to announce their full roster for summer league play in the coming days. Atlanta's first game in Vegas is scheduled for Friday against the Denver Nuggets.
