During the 2000 playoffs, Detroit Pistons player Grant Hill would suffer an ankle injury in Game 2 of the team’s first round series against the Miami Heat. The injury would not only sideline Hill, but would also mark the last time Hill would play for the Pistons franchise as he would sign with the Orlando Magic in the offseason. Drafted with the third overall pick in 1994, up until that point Hill was a six-time NBA All Star, multiple All-NBA team honors and former Co-rookie of the year. He was also a two time NCAA champion having won as a player for Duke University.
