Monday's Pistons Links: Aron Baynes not worried about Zika virus

Pistons center Aron Baynes not worried about Zika at Rio Games: The spread of the Zika virus through Brazil has raised concerns among athletes competing this summer at the Rio Olympics. But Detroit Pistons center Aron Baynes has done the homework, and he is all aboard with competing for Team Australia. “There was never any question that was going to change my mind from going to represent my country,” Baynes told the Free Press last month over the phone. "It was one of those things that you might have to take some extra precautions. … We’re not worried about it." -- Detroit Free Press

Pistons All-Star Andre Drummond gets dunked on twice in Drew League: Life as an NBA shot blocker can be dangerous in this respect: guys are always gunning for you, and sometimes, you're on the wrong side of a poster. Detroit Pistons star Andre Drummond experienced this a couple of times Sunday in the renown Drew League summer basketball in Los Angeles. Drummond, who just completed his first All-Star season and agreed to a huge-money contract extension with Detroit, presumably has a target on his chest for all dunkers, pro and amateur, when they see him under the basket. -- Detroit Free Press
