Jazz Daily Links: Tuesday

Jazz looking to take defense to Dallas: Even a Seattle Seahawks fan could appreciate what the Denver Broncos did on Sunday, as Von Miller and company harassed MVP quarterback Cam Newton en route to a Super Bowl victory. Because for Jazz coach Quin Snyder it was "another testament to defense" and "what a group can do when they're committed" to it. -- The Salt Lake Tribune

Hack-A-Shaq won’t sideline Rudy Gobert: The NBA could change its rules on the Hack-a-Shaq practice as early as this summer, but Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder is not among those clamoring for reform. The Jazz got a taste of it this weekend, when the Phoenix Suns put center Rudy Gobert on the line for 12 fourth-quarter free throws as they tried to cut into Utah's lead. -- The Salt Lake Tribune

Red-hot Utah Jazz enter the danger zone: An interesting note popped up Saturday night in Phoenix while the Utah Jazz were dismantling the Suns en route to their sixth-straight win. The trivia tidbit: Earl Watson, Phoenix’s interim head coach, and injured Suns guard Ronnie Price were both players for the Jazz when Utah had its last seven-game winning streak. That was way back in 2010. -- Deseret News
