Hawks Daily Links: Wednesday

Offense Rocks As Hawks Roll: Having lost five of their previous seven games, and looking listless in that process, the Hawks turned in their most complete game of the season — and almost certainly their most energetic — while tying their season high in points and setting a shooting mark (56.3 percent) with 33 assists. Atlanta (10-6) made 45-of-80 shots, and 12-of-24 3-pointers to offset a season-high-tying 20 turnovers. -- The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Bud Spoke (preached), Hawks Listened: What they said after the Hawks’ 121-97 win Tuesday over the Celtics: “Yeah, I think so. I thought Thabo Sefolosha came out and set a tone, and was active everywhere. Everybody was. If we can play like that in the first quarter, hopefully that will help us.” — Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer when asked if this was Atlanta’s most complete game. -- The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

5 observations from the Hawks’ 121-97 win over the Celtics: Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague narrowly missed double-doubles, and the Hawks plugged a few holes in looking a bit more like themselves Tuesday night in a 121-97 win over the Celtics in Philips Arena. Atlanta had lost five of its previous seven games before Millsap put up 25 points and nine rebounds and Teague added 16 points and nine assists. In avenging a 13-point loss to the same team 11 days earlier, the Hawks trailed just twice, at 0-2 and 5-6, and were in control throughout on the way to tying their season scoring high. -- The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
