Back in mid-December, there were some reports that the Los Angeles Angels were in exploratory talks with the Texas Rangers about trading outfielder Josh Hamilton back to the team he had left via free agency prior to the 2013 season. While nothing materialized at the time, the rumor has continued to live on.
