According to Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles, general manager Ned Colletti of the Los Angeles Dodgers said prior to Wednesday's game that "he hopes Matt Kemp is a Dodger 'for a long, long time,' and Kemp is signed through 2019." That stance, combined with Kemp's current hot streak -- he's hitting .486 with three home runs since July 20 -- makes it unlikely the team will choose to move him this afternoon.
