Gronk, Bieber share in Clippers' fun night

LOS ANGELES -- After the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-101 on Monday night at Staples Center there was an impromptu party in the home locker room featuring Justin Bieber, Rob Gronkowski and members of the New England Patriots.

Bieber, who was wearing a DeAndre Jordan jersey, has attended several Clippers games over the years, befriending many of their players such as Jordan, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

Gronkowski and the Patriots flew to San Diego after losing to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday and will practice at UC San Diego this week before playing the San Diego Chargers on Sunday night. Gronkowski, Shane Vereen, Jonas Gray, Akeem Ayers and Darius Fleming drove up to Los Angeles for the Clippers game on Monday and were invited into the locker room after the game by Clippers coach Doc Rivers, who still keeps in touch with Patriots coach Bill Belihick from Rivers' days in Boston coaching the Celtics.

"I brought him to the locker room," Rivers said when asked about Gronkowski. "We have a lot of Cowboys fans, which I clearly don't get that. So I brought all the Pats in to show them what a football team looks like."

Many of the Clippers, such as Paul, Griffin, Jordan and Jamal Crawford, gave their game jerseys to the Patriots players and took pictures with them. Of course, Bieber took pictures with the Patriots players as well.

"Just another Monday night," Griffin said. "Just another Monday night."
