Clippers 113, Pistons 91: L.A. snaps skid

LOS ANGELES -- After going on the road and dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season, the Los Angeles Clippers returned home and defeated the Detroit Pistons 113-91 on Monday.

It was the prefect opponent for a team in need of a big win to change their mood after a lackluster 1-3 road trip last week. The Clippers fell behind by nine points to start the game but opened up a 26-point lead in the third quarter and never looked back, as the starters were able to rest during the fourth quarter.

The Clippers will take Tuesday off before playing the Indiana Pacers at home on Wednesday.

Move over Manning: Blake Griffin scored 18 points and passed Danny Manning for fifth on the Clippers' all-time scoring list. The only Clippers or Buffalo Braves who have scored more points than Griffin are Randy Smith, Bob McAdoo and Elton Brand.

Celebrity Watch: The Clippers have attracted their fair share of celebrities this season, even for a weeknight game against Detroit. On Monday, Lil Wayne, Khloe Kardashian, Prince Fielder, Billy Crystal and Jim Carrey were in attendance.

Stat of the night: The Clippers hit 12 of 24 3-pointers on Monday, while Detroit hit just 8 of 27 from behind the arc.

Players of the game: In addition to Griffin's big night, DeAndre Jordan had 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Jordan Farmar scored a season-high 15 points off the bench. As a team, six Clippers scored in double figures.
