Mixed signs for Chiefs on injury report

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs had changes on their injury report Thursday, some positive and others not.

Starting tight end Anthony Fasano (knee), reserve defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson (calf) and punter Dustin Colquitt (calf) made progress. Fasano and Vickerson were listed as limited practice participants after not participating a day earlier. Colquitt was a full participant after being limited Wednesday.

Wide receiver Donnie Avery (groin) and cornerback Jamell Fleming (hamstring) went the other way. They were limited a day after being full participants.

There was no change for wide receiver Junior Hemingway (concussion, did not practice), nickel back Chris Owens (knee and abdomen, limited), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), tackle Donald Stephenson (shoulder, full) and cornerback Sean Smith (groin, full).

The Chiefs will issue on their final injury report Friday with playing statuses for Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.
