ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs continued a three-day minicamp for rookies and selected veterans at Missouri Western State University. Some observations:

• Left tackle Eric Fisher arrived in camp and participated in practice. Fisher was a full participant, which was something new for Fisher. He had been limited to individual drills during offseason practice after having shoulder surgery in January.

• Rookie De'Anthony Thomas continued to work with the running backs during position drills. The Chiefs drafted Thomas in the fourth round with the thought he could replace Dexter McCluster as the slot receiver, and though Thomas is getting some work out of the slot, many of his snaps are coming as the featured back. There doesn't figure to be much work available to him at that spot once veteran backs Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis arrive for practice.

• The Chiefs haven't varied their rotation at quarterback. Chase Daniel has consistently been the first quarterback to replace Alex Smith. Tyler Bray is next in the order, with the last snaps of the drills going to rookie Aaron Murray.
