Jaguars auditioning new kicker?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If the Jacksonville Jaguars are looking for a replacement for kicker Josh Scobee when his contract expires after the 2015 season, they may just look across the pond to owner Shad Khan's other football team.

Sorry, futbol team.

Hugo Rodallega, a striker with Fulham FC, nailed a 25-yard field goal at the end of the Jaguars' first training camp practice on Friday. He and his teammates areĀ in town to play a friendly against D.C. United on Saturday night at EverBank Field.

"It was good experience for me," said Rodallega, who was born in Colombia and has played for Fulham since 2012. "I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the moment. This is the most important."

Scobee spent some time working with Rodallega on the Jaguars' far practice field to get him ready for his field goal attempt. Rodallega missed his first two attempts but made his next five.

But then he had to make the short field goal with players from both teams watching and Jaguars players chanting his name. He drilled the kick well over the crossbar.

Scobee's tips helped, he said.

"He said to me how to kick the ball because it's different, the futbol ball and the American football ball," Rodallega said. "But I'm happy. I enjoyed the moment."
