T.Y. Hilton and Gosder Cherilus miss practice for second straight day

INDIANAPOLIS -- The goal for the Indianapolis Colts was for receiver T.Y. Hilton to return to practice by no later than Thursday.

That didn’t end up happening, as Hilton missed his second straight day of practice with a hamstring injury, which happened against Houston last weekend.

Coach Chuck Pagano didn’t address the media Thursday, but he’ll be able to give a better indication on if Hilton will play against Dallas when he talks on Friday.

Right tackle Gosder Cherilus also missed his second straight day of practice because of a groin problem. Xavier Nixon was working with the first unit at right tackle during the media portion of practice Thursday.

Here’s the rest of the Colts’ injury report form Thursday:

Did not practice: Guard Joe Reitz (ankle), guard Hugh Thornton (knee)

Limited practice: Cornerback Vontae Davis (groin), linebacker Erik Walden (knee)

Full practice: Return specialist Josh Cribbs (rest), linebacker D’Qwell Jackson (rest)
