Greg Toler practices, but Cory Redding sits with knee injury

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts cornerback Greg Toler (concussion) was a full participant in practice Thursday, but defensive lineman Cory Redding sat out because of a knee problem.

Coach Chuck Pagano said Wednesday that the plan was for Toler to take part in all of practice Thursday after wearing a red non-contact jersey in practice the day before.

The odds of tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) playing Sunday against the Washington Redskins are slim because he has yet to practice this week. The Colts are being extra cautious with Allen because they don’t want him to injure his ankle again the same way Art Jones did when he returned to the lineup too soon from his high-ankle sprain.

Here’s the rest of Thursday’s practice report:

Did not practice: Safety Colt Anderson (knee), offensive lineman Xavier Nixon (foot), linebacker Andy Studebaker (hamstring), offensive lineman Hugh Thornton (knee)

Limited practice: Cornerback Darius Butler (knee), cornerback Vontae Davis (foot)
