Vontae Davis wearing a walking boot on injured foot

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts cornerback Vontae Davis has been wearing a walking boot for the past couple of days.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Davis injured his foot during Sunday's game against Jacksonville, but he's not worried about him missing Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

"He's too tough," Pagano said. "It's a critical time [of the season that] he can't miss."

The Colts can't afford to be without Davis, especially if fellow cornerback Greg Toler doesn't complete the NFL's concussion protocol. Toler missed the game against Jacksonville after suffering a concussion Nov. 16 against New England.

Toler and cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy wore red non-contact jersey's in practice Wednesday. Pagano said they'll practice with contact Thursday and he believes both will play against the Redskins.

Here's the rest of the Colts' injury report from Wednesday:

Did not practice: Tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle), safety Colt Anderson (knee), cornerback Josh Gordy (back), linebacker D'Qwell Jackson (rest), linebacker Andy Studebaker (hamstring), guard Hugh Thornton (knee), receiver Reggie Wayne (rest).
