W2W4: Colts vs. Jaguars

Here is a look at three storylines heading into Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars:

Run the ball: You would think it’s a given that the Colts would be able to run the ball against the Jaguars since Jacksonville is 26th in the league in stopping the run. But nothing is a given when it comes to the Colts running ball, especially when running backs Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw combined for only four yards on 14 carries against New England last weekend. Bradshaw is out for the season with a fractured fibula, so Daniel "Boom" Herron will be Richardson’s backup. Herron has 22 carries for 74 yards this season.

Get to Blake Bortles: Jacksonville's rookie quarterback made his debut against the Colts in Week 3. The Colts sacked Bortles and Chad Henne four times in that game. Bortles, who threw for 223 yards in just a half of action against the Colts, is prone to throw an interception if you pressure him. He leads the NFL in interceptions with 14 despite only attempting 278 passes this season. Indianapolis is fine recording sacks against quarterbacks not named Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or Ben Roethlisberger. They only sacked those future Hall of Famers one time in three games.

Andrew Luck tying the mark: Indianapolis' quarterback will tie New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees' record of nine consecutive games of throwing for at least 300 yards if he accomplishes the feat against the Jaguars. Brees threw for at least 300 yards in nine straight games twice. Luck has thrown for at least 300 yards in all but one game the season. The Colts pounded the ball on the ground in their Week 2 game against Philadelphia. Luck only threw for 172 yards against the Eagles.
