Trent Richardson misses practice but still expects to play Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson did not practice Wednesday because of a sore hamstring, but he said he expects to play in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Richardson injured his hamstring in the second half of Sunday's victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. He could have returned to the game but he was held out because the outcome had already been decided.

The plan is for Richardson, who was on pace to have his first 100-yard rushing game as a Colt before the injury, to practice Thursday.

Here's the rest of the Colts' injury report for Wednesday:

Did not practice: Receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow), tackle Gosder Cherilus (rest), tight end Jack Doyle (knee)

Limited: Cornerback Darius Butler (ankle)

Full participation: Defensive lineman Art Jones (ankle), linebacker Jerrell Freeman (hip)
