Mike Chappell of the Indy Star talked to Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne about his return from the torn ACL that ended his season in Week 7 last October. "I haven't had any problems, nothing out of the norm,” Wayne said. “"I haven't had any pain. Nothing has set me back."

Stephen Holder, also of the Indy Star, writes that coach Chuck Pagano is worried about having such a young interior offensive line. The Colts could start a rookie at guard and second-year players at center and at the other guard position now that veteran Donald Thomas' 2014 season ended with a torn quad. "Doesn't matter what position," Pagano said. "Anytime you have to play with young guys, particularly rookies, you are concerned."

Conrad Brunner of 1070thefan.com writes about Thomas' season ending for the second straight year because of the same injury. "I said to myself, 'Damn, this is like a scene from Final Destination,' " Wayne said. Brunner wrote, "It’s not even August, and already three of the six players thought to be well on their way back from major injuries that truncated their respective 2013 seasons have been lost to the Colts."

Kevin Bowen of Colts.com highlights Wayne's performance under the bright lights of more than 7,500 fans during the team's annual night practice. Bowen noted that Wayne caught seven of quarterback Andrew Luck's first 10 completions.
