Dwayne Allen, Gosder Cherilus, Greg Toler ruled out against Jacksonville

INDIANAPOLIS -- To no surprise, tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle), offensive right tackle Gosder Cherilus (shoulder) and cornerback Greg Toler (concussion) will not play in the Indianapolis Colts’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Allen injured his ankle in the first half against the New England Patriots last weekend. It’ll be the first time since the 2010 season that Cherilus will miss a game. Toler showed up at the team’s facility with a headache Monday. He has to get through the NFL’s concussion protocol before he can return.

Coby Fleener and Jack Doyle will be the Colts’ top two tight ends. Joe Reitz will likely start at right tackle and Darrius Butler will likely start opposite of Vontae Davis at cornerback and then slide to the slot receiver once the Jaguars go to the three receivers with Josh Gordy playing on the outside at cornerback.
