RTC: Was that J.J. Watt's best game ever?

Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans...

Pro Football Focus has never rated J.J. Watt higher than it did for Sunday's performance against the Buffalo Bills, writes Dave Zangaro of CSNHouston.com. Watt had nine quarterback hits to go with the interception he returned for a touchdown. Zangaro writes: "That 13.5 grade is the highest the site has ever awarded the former Defensive Player of the Year. The highest grade ever awarded was a 14.3 to Robert Quinn. Watt's grade is the highest ever for an interior defensive lineman. He owns seven of the top 10 grades at 3-4 defensive end."

The Texans beat the Bills despite turning the ball over too much, but that won't work consistently, writes John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. The Texans have already forced nine turnovers this season. Here we remind you again, they forced 11 in 16 games last season.

After rushing for only 37 total yards on Sunday, the Texans are looking to improve their running game, writes Kristie Rieken of the Associated Press. "We have to keep making sure that we stick the run in there; we can't just throw it 55 or 60 times a game and get away with that," coach Bill O'Brien said. "We've got to figure out how to run the ball better from a coaching standpoint and from a playing standpoint."

Bills quarterback EJ Manuel had a bad Sunday on the wrong end of the Texans' pass rush. He had a bad Monday, too. Buffalo replaced Manuel as starting quarterback with Kyle Orton, writes Mike Rodak of ESPN.com.
