Prediction: Patriots will beat Packers

When was the last time the Green Bay Packers beat a top-flight quarterback? And I'm not talking about good quarterbacks like, say Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan. I mean one of the great ones. It hasn't happened this season; their lone opportunity was against Drew Brees, and the Saints blew them out of the Superdome last month. Last year, they beat Tony Romo in Dallas, but we could argue for days and days about whether Romo belongs in that category.

Granted, they don't get many cracks at Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck and Tom Brady because they're in the AFC, but even some of the best in the NFC – the Colin Kaepernicks and Russell Wilsons of the world – have foiled the Packers multiple times in recent years. You probably have to go back to early in the 2012 season, when the Packers beat Brees and the Saints by a single point, to find the last win over a so-called elite quarterback. So what will Brady do to them? It could be ugly.

Prediction: Patriots 41, Packers 24.
