GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Seven weeks into the season, and the Green Bay Packers are right back where they started in the ESPN NFL Power Rankings.
It took four straight victories following their 1-2 start to climb to No. 6 again. They jumped three spots this week after Sunday's blowout victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Their opponent this week, the New Orleans Saints, was one spot ahead of the Packers in the preseason rankings, but after a 2-4 start, the Saints have plummeted 17 spots to No. 22.
Here's a look at where the Packers stand among the top NFC teams:
2. Cowboys
3. Eagles
5. Cardinals
6. Packers
The Lions, at No. 10, are the only other NFC North team in the top half of the rankings. The Bears slipped to No. 19, and the Vikings are 27th.
